


About Dr. Nathan D. Knox

A Heart for God. A Vision for People.
Dr. Nathan D. Knox, a native of Chicago and proud product of Chicago Public Schools, has devoted his life to serving God and empowering others through the transformative power of the Gospel.
In 2005, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Theology with a minor in Psychology from Aenon Bible College in Indianapolis, IN. During his studies, he was mentored by the late Bishop James E. Tyson at Christ Church Apostolic and served faithfully as an armor-bearer to several international evangelists, laying a strong foundation for ministry.

A Ministry of Impact
In December 2018, Dr. Knox earned a Doctorate in Christian Leadership Counseling and became a certified Life Coach through California University of Theology in Inglewood, CA. In December 2020, Dr. Knox graduated with a Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Science from East West University, Chicago, IL.
He is the Founder and CEO of N.D.K. Ministries & Consulting Services, a nonprofit organization established in 1998 with a mission to minister to the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, guided by Habakkuk 2:2-3.
In July 2022, Dr. Knox was elected as Illinois District Council Singles Ministry President, and 2nd Vice President of the International Singles People’s Alliance of Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc
On July 20, 2024, Dr. Knox was elected as Pastor, and on November 17, 2024, he was installed as the Pastor of New Church of the Holy Ghost, where he faithfully teaches the Gospel, shepherds God’s people, and reaches out to the lost with compassion and purpose.

A Legacy of Service
Licensed and ordained by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) since 2001, Dr. Knox has over 20 years of ministry experience.
His ministry extends beyond the pulpit, where he regularly visits recovery homes, nursing facilities, juvenile courts, county jails, and hospitals, and on missionary trips to Africa, driven by his mission to “reach the lost at any cost.” In March 2020, he received an ordination chaplaincy certification from The Grace School of Ministry in California.

At home in Chicago, Dr. Knox is a devoted father to his sons and has opened his heart and home to nephews, godsons, and foster children. By God's grace, he is living out his calling to love and serve others as Christ does.
